Con Dao is the name of an archipelago comprising 16 islands of varying sizes, located in East Sea (Vietnam). If you prefer tranquility, you may consider staying at two resorts on opposite ends of Con Son Island: Poulo Condor Boutique Resort & Spa (nearly Co Ong Airport) and Orson Resort (nearly Ben Dam port). These are both 4-star equivalent resorts offering a serene ambiance and excellent service quality. Both are located approximately 13km away from the center of Con Son town. The only inconvenience of these two locations is that you’ll spend time and money on transportation to reach the central part of Con Dao, where most of the island’s activities are concentrated.

Approximately 5 kilometers northeast of the center of Con Dao, you’ll find the luxurious Six Senses Con Dao Resort, known for having the highest room rates on Con Dao. Six Senses Resort offers separate villas with 2 to 4 bedrooms, each featuring a private pool. This is also the place where the family of the actress Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stayed during their visit to Con Dao in November 2011.

In the center town, you have plenty of options for your accommodation, ranging from mini hotels to modern hotels and resorts with 3 to 4-star standard . Here are some suggestions to help you choose a place that suits your preferences:

• Homestay: Nha Toi Homestay, De la Rosa Homestay…The common feature of these homestays is that they are located far from residential areas and tourist attractions
• Mini hotels: Con Son hotel, Hoang Gia Hotel, Maya hotel, Havana Con Dao Hotel, Nicobar Hotel…Mini hotels typically do not include breakfast and airport transfer costs in their room rates on Con Dao.
